Dr. Stephen Sulzbach is a general dentist providing aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry with a focus on TMD therapy. Dr. Sulzbach treats his patients with compassion and skill, taking care to listen to their individual concerns and providing them with a comprehensive approach to their care that includes specific customized solutions utilizing the very best that modern dentistry has to offer. Dr. Sulzbach provides options whenever possible and his guests are asked what they want, not told what they need. In addition to general family dentistry, Dr. Sulzbach has extensive training and experience in comprehensive aesthetic dentistry (including Invisalign, veneers, and smile makeovers) and neuromuscular dentistry (including TMJ treatment, pain relief, and full mouth reconstruction).
Dr. Sulzbach strongly believes regular and extensive continuing education is essential to providing patients with the modern high quality dental care they want and deserve. To this end, Dr. Sulzbach takes many times over the required amount of yearly continuing education from the top instructors and post-graduate training centers in the country. Dr. Sulzbach is a graduate of the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), where he trained with some of the most prominent aesthetic and neuromuscular dentists in the world. Graduates of LVI are widely regarded as among the top 1% of highly trained aesthetic and reconstructive dentists in the world. In order to complete the LVI core curriculum, Dr. Sulzbach was required to attend nearly 300 hours of mostly “hands on,” live patient continuing education.
Dr. Sulzbach is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Sulzbach is a current member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics (IACA), the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
