Victory Equine Centre, 4501 Cap Stine Road in Frederick, is offering a Write What You Know workshop June 27 at a working horse farm to introduce writers to horses, so their equine characters have realism. Meet and touch horses, groom, muck a stall, ride a horse, and learn about the history of the horse. We have compiled a dictionary of usable horse terminology, examples of good and not-so-good writing about horses, and more. Gourmet box lunch is included.
